The Bonita Springs area has some of the largest populations of Tarpon in the state of Florida. The best and most consistent fishing is for our resident Tarpon. When you’re on a Bonita Springs Tarpon fishing charter you will see and cast to actively feeding Tarpon the entire time. I know of very few places in the world where you can cast to so many Tarpon, and we specialize in getting that first Tarpon for you.
The best time of the year in Bonita Springs to fish for Tarpon just happens to overlap with spring break and summer vacations. Please contact us or reserve your charter online using our booking form as soon as you know your dates. The Tarpon will be biting consistently from the first week of May thru October so use those dates as a reference.
Our Tarpon fishing charters are always early in the morning from just before first light until about 10 AM on the average. It’s incredible to be casting to fish that have been active for over four hours and then all of a sudden they just all seem to all quit at once. The fast action early makes up for the days when they stop biting early.
We provide you with high quality rods and reels, and all the lures, baits, and any other tackle needed. Included is ice cold bottled water, and a large cooler with ice for your personal beverages and snacks. We have a digital SLR camera to take high resolution photos of your catch. Please plan on bringing your own food and snacks if you want.
Sunscreen (no spray on sunscreen), Polarized Sunglasses are a must, a hat or visor really helps with the glare. Food or snacks if you feel the need. There is room in the cooler for your food and soft drinks. We supply ice cold water so you don’t need to bring any. It is OK to bring beer and a light jacket is a good idea in the winter months just in case we have a cool day.
